This class is a graduation requirement
Class Objectives:
To learn about lifetime health practices that influence our daily life.To make better decisions regarding our health and be able to reach your fullest potential.The emphasis of this class is for you to begin assuming responsibility for your own health and well being.
Grading
Grades will be based on assigned work, projects, tests, and your personalized fitness portfolio. Late work will only be accepted before the test or final project of that unit.Late work will be penalized one letter grade.
Fitness Day
Fitness days are on Wednesdays and Fridays - the above portfolios will be utilized on these days.
Core subjects include:
- Cardiovascular
- Target Heart Rate
- Strength
