TAKING THE SAT AND THE ACT
Registration for the SAT and the ACT is done through an on-line registration system.
Capital’s CEEB Code, is 480829. It is important to use this code when registering for college tests so your scores will be sent to Capital.
Because
students are likely to perform better on one of the two major college
entrance tests, one strategy is to take both the SAT and the ACT in the
spring of the junior year, and then take one of the tests again in the
fall of the senior year. Look at the test schedule well ahead of time to
avoid paying late fees. Students who meet eligibility guidelines may
qualify for a fee waiver. (ACT fee waiver, SAT fee waiver.) See your counselor to request a fee waiver.
Check out these websites for test-prep information. We also have test-prep books for you to borrow from the Career Center:
Local companies are also available for tutoring for a fee.
