Sense and Sensibility
By Kate Hamil
Based on the novel by Jane Austen
A merging of classic and contemporary, Kate Hamil’s version of Sense and Sensibility takes us through the humor and drama of being a penniless woman in the late 18th century English society. When the Dashwood sisters’ father passes away, his estate is left to his son, leaving his daughters poor and vulnerable in a world where wealth dictates marriage. Follow Elinor, the sensible, and Marianne, the impulsive, as they navigate romance and disappointment. Both whimsical and heartfelt, this take on classic literature is sure to please all audiences.
