Weekly Activities Schedule

Week 20 (Jan. 27-31)

  • Due by the End of Finals Class Period
    • Watch and read ALL the steps for your Linkedin Recommendation Process
      • IF YOU ARE 16 OR OLDER: Request to join Mr. Le Duc's Linkedin network this week, as he will not be available during finals or the day before
      • IF YOU ARE 15 OR YOUNGER: Create blog post and title it, Linkedin Recommendation for INSERT FIRST NAME, LAST INITIAL
    • 4 POINTS: Use the Recommendation Feedback Form (PDF) template to write out the first few words of the sentence you wrote for each of the five parts
      • Only write FIVE sentences!
      • Have a classmate proofread your recommendation and HAVE THEM PRINT THEIR NAME ON THE FORM
      • Hand to Mr. Le Duc your Recommendation Feedback Form to indicate that you are finished
    • 1 POINT: Fill in the the Team Feedback Google Form (Film, Game, Rock)
    • 4 POINTS: Complete the Session 4 Film Production blog post
      • Turn in reviewer signed half sheet to Mr. Le Duc
    • Complete all above requirements before the end of class period - no late work will be accepted
    • Share 2020 PUGET SOUND ALL GIRLS FILM CHALLENGE - Deadline is Feb 7th!
  • Tues: Present Session Work to Advisory Members

      • Make sure each team has their session feedback packets (the ones with their pictures on them)
      • Prep the classroom
        • Back row set up with position and name paper tents
        • Presentation computer is ready with most current versions of media work for each team on the desktop
          • Le Duc class folder with email (with links for the team presentations) is on screen and ready
        • Microphone is charged and ready
        • Sound level is at 50 on the sound system (big round knob) and Mr. Le Duc has the remote control
      • Remind teams that we will start with team 1 and team two will be giving feedback from the back row

          • Volunteer at the SkillsUSA regional competitions here at Capital Jan. 11 and 18th (Saturdays 9AM-2PM)
        2. Be trained as a Scrum Master
          • Read the scrum book, on your own time, and work with Mr. Le Duc over the next few months to run teams in class
        3. Read a book on a core team position/skill (like directing, editing, etc.), on your own time, and work with Mr. Le Duc to integrate what you learn into the class structure
        4. Compete in SkillsUSA Film, Game, or Audio Competition in Jan. 2020
