CHS 16th Annual Giving Tree - Donations Needed
Target gift card donations are now being accepted for our annual CHS Giving Tree to assist our students in need.
For the past 16 years, the staff, students, and community of Capital High School have spread holiday cheer to those students in need through the CHS Giving Tree. We are now collecting $50 Target gift card donations for deserving CHS students just in time for the holidays. Many CHS students are struggling to meet even their most basic needs. It is a blessing to be able to let these students know that they are loved and cared for by our school community. For some, this may be the only gift they receive this year. Last year, we served approximately 300 students through the Giving Tree program.
How to give: Please bring $50 Target gift cards to the main office or use this direct link (sponsored by our CHS Parent Organization) to donate: https://givebutter.com/capital-high-school-2026-giving-tree-rsouze

CAPITAL HIGH SCHOOL THEATRE PROUDLY PRESENTS TRAP
- TRAP was created by Stephen Gregg.
- TRAP is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Playscripts.
Coming this October, Capital Theatre is being drawn into a web with no way out in TRAP!
SUMMARY: 241 bodies. 1 auditorium. The doors were wide open; why didn’t they just walk out? Find the answer for yourself in Capital Theatre’s chilling show TRAP! Everybody from direct witnesses, loved ones, first responders, and the investigators tracking down the ends of this case are involved in the documentary of how this strange history came to be. As the strands weave together into an ever-closing web, the threads sewn by this phenomena may be more than just a stitch in the past. At equal parts unnerving, exhilarating, and wildly inventive, TRAP is a show certain to leap at the audience into something they’ve never walked into before.
