Visitors & College Representatives

During the fall, many colleges send representatives from their admissions offices to CHS to talk with interested students. These meetings offer the opportunity for you to meet with someone who has the answers to all your questions about a specific school. Teachers are usually cooperative in excusing serious students from class for this purpose, but always remember to check with your teacher before coming to the Career Center. Schools pay attention to which students attend their presentation, so it's always a good idea to come meet the representative if you can. Parents are always welcome to attend these visits too.

Other visitors include speakers from College Board, military recruiters, internships, apprenticeships, and more. See our calendar on the wall outside the Career Center.

Students can sign up in the Career Center for events.

*POTENTIAL VISITORS: The CHS Career Center uses Counselor Community/Rep Visits to schedule all of our visitors. Please visit that website to see our availability.

3. You will be ready to register for classes the day that registration opens, making it more likely for you to get into your first choice of class

At the Application Sessions, you can expect to take care of key enrollment steps to SPSCC.

You will:
- Sit down at a computer and actually complete an application
- Learn how to sign up in advance for the mandatory student advising & registration orientation (NSAR)
