CiHS - FIN 174 - Central Washington University - 5 college credits. (NOTE: Sem 1 will be .5 credit, Sem 2 will be 1.0 credit)
Students will gain the basic knowledge required to make some of life’s most important financial decisions such as finding a job, money management, apartment and house hunting, buying a car, budgeting, insurance, credit history/reports/scores, retirement and gaining insight into the world of banking and investing. This course includes speakers from the community, online simulations, and simulated stock portfolios. Students must pass a math placement test for the college credit: $15 per test unless free/reduced.
