  1. Review Dept. Head meeting notes
  2. Discuss issues for feedback at Friday’s coordinators’ meeting

  1. Curtis reported about the CTE budget process
    • The system was not very clear in the beginning of the year
    • There have been some balance issues
    • There is a need for a clearer budget and spending process
    • In an attempt make the process more efficient the oversight process hasn't been working consistently
    • Keep an eye on your budget balance
  2. Spring Final’s Schedule – Draft 2 accepted; finals on Friday
    • Comments: Less than 50% of vote, so more people DIDN’T like this schedule than did; pare down so only 2 choices to show clear majority; should have blog to advocate for individual choices
    • Give finals early to individual OR whole class acceptable, then meaningful activity (with less grading) during final time.
  3. Laptop Rollout (follow up) – 8 machines not claimed; if you don’t have yours, get ASAP
  4. Additional Senior Days
    • April 22, April 29, May 6
    • Funds for 8 staff/day
    • Should be a form coming out to ask which days, subjects anyone would like to teach (within 2 weeks)
    • Added arts opportunity, study hall for half of each Saturday
  5. 8th -9th Grade Transition: Parent Night
    • Theater 6:00-7:00; discussion: PPR, one slide per dept.
    • See slide to edit/add
    • Clubs can set up at 6:15 for 7:00-8:00
    • 5:00-6:00 – private school registration for students
  6. School Calendar / PLC planning
    • PLC –Seattle Conf. Aug. 15-17. If PLCs are a priority, should some staff attend?
  7. Spending: Keep Curtis in the loop for travel; let him know BEFORE he gets a travel request how it’s being paid for
  8. Dan thanked staff for supporting the music assessments
  9. PLEASE do not ask for students to be let out of another class to attend yours – to finish test, work on project
  10. Discussion of penalty F (miss too many days, no credit) Can’t do it – illegal
  11. Keep kids in class – too many are wandering halls
  12. Gates to music, PE areas will be locked during lunches
