2025 Year of the Snake New Year’s Contest
Students in Mrs. Katzer’s Japanese 1, 2, 3, and 4 classes have been learning about the traditional customs surrounding New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day in Japan. As part of their studies, they created New Year’s cards with a "Year of the Snake" theme, as well as winter greeting cards inspired by their newfound knowledge. The staff then voted to select the top three cards from each group: Japanese 1, Japanese 2, and Japanese 3 & 4. The competition was tough, and the students did an outstanding job!
