Marketing is an interactive course geared toward preparing students for the competitive business world. Students will gain understanding of business topics such as entrepreneurship, advertising and promotion, product development and market research while developing 21st century skills for success. Students will work both independently and collaboratively on real world projects relating to the curriculum. With case studies, hands-on projects, guest speakers, field trip opportunities and the option to join DECA (An International Association of Marketing Students), this course is designed for gaining experience beyond the classroom.
Advanced Marketing A, B

Advanced marketing is a high energy course that builds upon the business and marketing skills developed in Intro to Marketing. Students who have successfully completed 1 semester of Intro to Marketing are eligible to enroll in Advanced Marketing. Students will apply their marketing skills to real world business situations. We will be exploring such topics as Fashion Marketing, Social Media Marketing and Sports & Entertainment Marketing. With several guest speakers, field trip opportunities and ties to DECA, this course is designed for gaining experience beyond the classroom.

Course is recommended for second year marketing students interested in a career in managing a small business and/or project management. Student Store Management is a one-year course in which students will apply marketing, leadership and business concepts by operating in real time the day-to-day operations and management of an Espresso Stand, Student Store and Print and Apparel Shop. Students will be employees and managers. Students are strongly encouraged to participate in DECA, the leadership organization for marketing students.
