Student Section:  

Cispus! Cispus!! Cispus!!!  Be a Camp Cispus counselor this spring!  Pick up applications from Mr. Le Duc in room F1.  Do it today! Room F1, off the Commons.

9th -11th Grade Information Night will be held at CHS Thursday, February 8th from 6pm to 8pm.  

Here students and parents will gain valuable insight into the programs and curriculum available to students as they prepare to register for classes for next year and for life after high school. Sessions will include Running Start, New Market Skills Center, International Baccalaureate, NCAA Requirements, The "College-Bound Scholarship" Program, PSAT Results with Explanation, Preparing for College Now, and To-Do List by Grade Level.  This is the best way to be informed of your choices! ~8


If you are interested in turning out for the boy’s or girl's golf team this spring, please come to informational meetings this Friday Feb 9th.  The boy's meeting will be held during Coug Time A in room A-2. The girls meeting will be held during Coug Time B in room A-2. If you have questions or cannot attend please come see Mr. Hamilton in A-2. ~9


Native American FIRE Summit field trip is on Friday, February 9th. To sign up to travel with the school please see Mrs. Sande before Tuesday, January 9th. The FIRE Summit is a daylong experience at SPSCC designed to ignite Native youth, giving them a place to start dreaming while exploring their future academic possibilities. ~9


Attention Seniors! Beginning Monday February 12th, Seniors will receive a pass for individual appointments with their counselor to review credits and graduation eligibility. Passes will be delivered the day of your appointment. Appointments will be over a two week time period. If you are absent the day of the appointment, please contact Ms. Weeks in the counseling center to reschedule immediately. These appointments are mandatory in order to participate in the graduation ceremony. ~12

CHS DECA is holding a "Zumba for a Cause" class taught by Mrs. Sande in the commons on February 13th from 6-7 PM. Invite your friends, families, and neighbors; everyone is welcome! The price is $7, but if you make an item donation (clothing or hygiene products) then the price will be reduced to $5. All proceeds will go directly to Pear Blossom Place Family Shelter. ~13


If you are interested in playing baseball this spring, there will be a pre-season sign-up meeting in the health classroom with Coach Elam, February 16th during Coug-Time A. ~16

The Renaissance Assembly will held on February 23rd. This assembly is to recognize students who spend time volunteering or participate in a sport, club or group outside of school.  Please sign up at ASB if you know of an individual or a group that should be recognized for their efforts. ~23
