We are on Finals Schedule today and Schedule A on Monday

7:45 - 9:10 a.m. – Period 5 Final

9:10 – 9:25 a.m. – BREAK

9:30 – 10:52 – Period 6 Final

*Buses arrive at 10:52

Student Section:  

National Honor Society quarter zip sweatshirts are currently on sale in the student store.  If you ordered one, please pick it up by February 7th.  The cost is $25.

If you are interested in playing baseball this spring, there will be a pre-season sign-up meeting in the health classroom with Coach Elam, February 16th during Coug-Time A.

D-12 will be available on 2/2 from 10:52-2:15 for Apex students or others needing computers.


TODAY is the last day  to fill out your Match-O-Matics form!  Pick one up at ASB.  They will be sent off on Monday so we will have the results back in time for Valentines Day.


The 15th Annual Father-Daughter Dance will be held on Friday, February 2nd and Saturday, February 3rd at Capital High School.  Purchase tickets and photos at www.CHSPO.org ~2


CHS DECA is holding a "Zumba for a Cause" class taught by Mrs. Sande in the commons on February 13th from 6-7 PM. Invite your friends, families, and neighbors; everyone is welcome! The price is $7, but if you make an item donation (clothing or hygiene products) then the price will be reduced to $5. All proceeds will go directly to Pear Blossom Place Family Shelter.


This year's Talent Show will be held on February 15th.  Talent show tryouts will be February 5th and 6th in the choir room.  Please sign up at ASB if you plan to tryout. ~5


9th -11th Grade Information Night will be held at CHS Thursday, February 8th from 6pm to 8pm.  

Here students and parents will gain valuable insight into the programs and curriculum available to students as they prepare to register for classes for next year and for life after high school. Sessions will include Running Start, New Market Skills Center, International Baccalaureate, NCAA Requirements, The "College-Bound Scholarship" Program, PSAT Results with Explanation, Preparing for College Now, and To-Do List by Grade Level.  This is the best way to be informed of your choices! ~8


Native American FIRE Summit field trip is on Friday, February 9th. To sign up to travel with the school please see Mrs. Sande before Tuesday, January 9th. The FIRE Summit is a daylong experience at SPSCC designed to ignite Native youth, giving them a place to start dreaming while exploring their future academic possibilities. ~9


The Renaissance Assembly will held on February 23rd. This assembly is to recognize students who spend time volunteering or participate in a sport, club or group outside of school.  Please sign up at ASB if you know of an individual or a group that should be recognized for their efforts. ~23
