    • Tues: Comment on at least six other photos in the shared group on the server
      • You can write comments
      • You can add a note over the picture, highlighting what you really like
      • Be appropriate and remember that all comments are tracked back to your account
    • Wed: Photo Safari: Seeing Photographically
      • Gather the 3 images, each person takes all three
    • Fri: Finishtaking the pictures
      • Upload to Flickr and share with the 3rd Period VisCom Group
      • Comment on at least six other photos in the shared group on the server
      • You can write comments
      • You can add a note over the picture, highlighting what you really like
      • Be appropriate and remember that all comments are tracked back to your account

      • Include your favorite image from your last few days work
        • Write a few sentences explaining what you like about your composition in the image
        • Include at least one compositional rule in your description
    • Tues-Wed: Finishmaking your blog posts from Monday's task
      • I know you didn't have Internet access yesterday, so post it today :)
      • I cannot wait to see you work!
    • Thurs: LearningFlash Animation
      • Read about Flash Animation assignment
      • You will need headphones for this assignment, if you cannot hear the tutorials at low volume on your computer
      • Please bring your own, because I only have about 6
    • Fri: Continueworking on Adobe Flash tutorials
      • Post a blog entry, titled: Working with Flash
        • Share, in a small paragraph, what you have learned so far
          • Please detail which videos you have watched so far, as well

      • The final project won't be due until after I get back next week, but here are the requirements:
        • Final Flash Project
        • Presentation must be complex and demonstrate your understanding of the basics of Adobe Flash
        • It can be anything you want, a simple walking character with a simple background is one example
        • No Violence in the animation!
        • Incorporate your understanding of the fo llowing terms and concepts into your Flash Presentation

    • Thurs: Work on Day Two of CSS and XHTML Relationships
      • Create Blog entry titled My Web Page
        • Post screenshot of your HTML and CSS code
        • Write a short paragraph about what you did and learned so far
    • Fri: Quiz on HTML
      • Continue working on HTML and CSS
      • Write four property:value; combinations for one selector in CSS with the Dreamweaver auto-fill tool

    • Tues: Day Three of HTML and CSS
      • Add to your Blog entry titled My Web Page
      • Post screenshot of your HTML and CSS code with some DIV box code
      • Write a short paragraph about what you did and learned so far
    • Wed: Day Four
    • Thurs: Begin building final design
      • Place your name as the H1 at the top of the page
      • Replace the Image with an Creative Commons Image from Flickr, 
        • Cite the author name, web site, and date downloaded in the gray comment code section I made for you
        • Resize the image to fit the web page, equal to or less than 1000px wide and 700px tall
    • Fri: Continue working on web page
  • Week 18
    • Mon: Finish work and add to your blog entry titled My Web Page
      • Make sure you include: 
      • 1st screenshot of basic HTML code and short paragraph of what you DID and LEARNED
      • 2nd screenshot of boxes with DIV code and short paragraph of what you DID and LEARNED
      • 3rd screenshot of the finished design previewed in a web browser, not the code, and a small paragraph detailing what you DID and LEARNED
    • Tues: For the rest of the week you will be exploring Audio Recording and Basic Composition
      • Compose a song in GarageBand
        • 1 minute or less in length
        • Include at least 4 Software Instrument or MIDI tracks
        • Include at least 1 Real TRACK (This could be your voice)
        • Arrange your song with a distinctive beginning, middle and end
      • Create a blog post titled, GarageBand Basics
      • Define, in your own words, these Terms and Concepts in a the blog post (Hint - drag over the terms for a definition - remember you need to write the definition in your words!) 
    • Wed: Begin working on your composition
    • Thurs: Continue working on your composition
    • Fri: Finish your composition, upload and link your mp3 audio file to your blog so we can hear it!
  • Week 19
    • Mon: Finish GarageBand Basics project
    • Tues: Organize and clean up blog and prepare for finals
        • Make sure all Blog Posts are included
        • Make sure to spell check and check grammar
        • Make sure fix formatting errors like pictures turned sideways, using header fonts, links work, etc.
