Kristina Cummins

I regard the theatre as the greatest of all art forms, the most immediate way in which a human being can share with another the sense of what it is to be a human being.

Welcome to Capital!  I'm excited for another great year of Theatre and 9th grade English.  This is my 8th year at CHS and my 17th year in education.  I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts from California State University, Fullerton in 1995 and earned my Master's in Teaching from Saint Martin's University in 2001.   I am also a National Board Certified Teacher in English Language Arts.  My hobbies include reading, watching movies (especially if I've read the book beforehand), spending time with my family, and everything theatre.  In addition to my involvement in Capital's theatre program, I also serve as Co-Chapter Director of the State Thespian Board coordinating conferences and events for the theatre students and teachers throughout Washington State.
