Mission: Capital High School staff, in partnership with students, their families and community, will provide high standards in teaching and learning in a safe, supportive environment so that all students will achieve success and develop the capacity for life long learning.
A Capital High School student will explore and appreciate art, music, cultures, careers, diversity, social sciences, natural sciences, mathematics, languages, and physical health/wellness. Students will be expected to meet rigorous standards in the academic and extra-curricular paths they choose.
A Capital student will develop a personal commitment to: understanding and valuing self and others; maintaining a healthy lifestyle; setting goals and meeting high standards; protecting the environment; pride in self, school, and community; citizenship and community service; having a sense of humor; being a life-long learner; understanding the need for authority from a community perspective; being respectful and responsible.
