CHS Booster Club

The Booster Club meets at 6p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month in the conference room of the Capital Medical Center.  The CHS Booster Club supports all WIAA activities, including sports, music, debate and drama.  The Booster's main fund raiser is an auction.  The Boosters are working to raise over $100,000 that will go to support student activities.  There are additional projects in the works to build spirit and pride at CHS.  Come be a booster!  Contact Susan Rivera-Lee at svrlee@hotmail.com to learn how you can help.  Dues are $20 per year.

The CHS Parent Organization

The Parent Organization (aka: C.H.S.P.O.) exists to support students, staff, and families.  It is the roof that houses class activities (such as the senior party), the Cougar Connection phone book and newsletter, a staff appreciation luncheon, Arts Recognition Night, Freshman Orientation, and educational forums for parents.  The Parent Organization meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the school library.   Fund raisers include the Barnes & Noble book fair, two fabulous Father/Daughter Dances, and the grocery rebate program.  Contact Carol Riley at carol@reunionsunlimited.com or Ron Gross at rald31@yahoo.com to join.  Membership is $20 per year.

The CHS Foundation

The goal of the CHS Foundation is to provide money for Capital High Graduates to continue their education.  Scholarships are awarded on the basis of need, academics, and activities.  This gorup makes thousands of dollards available to seniors each spring.  One major fundraiser is the Holiday See's chocolate sale.  The Foundation also sells pavers and conducts the popular Mother/Son Palapalooza in March.  The Foundation meets the second Wednesday of each month in the CHS Counselor center conference room.  Contact Richenda Richardson at richenda@nwrain.com to join.
